Hello folks, my name is Lindsey, and this is my first blog post. I've never thought about making a blog, let alone clicking on the blog app. I am not your typical straight-out-of-high-school student, as I feel I did things backward from the "norm." I am an older student who is working on getting her Associate of Arts Degree while at the same time getting an Occupational Endorsement for Coding and also a certificate for medical billing and coding. I work full-time at Eielson AFB and am also a full-time student. I have 3 daughters and have been married for the last 17 years.

I love to go to paint nights when I have time. I have done all sorts of different art, from ceramics to clay to Play-Doh, but I haven't done any pottery. However, I would love to get a pottery wheel and learn that. I don't attend First Fridays. Even though I always hear about First Fridays, I never go because I don't put it on my calendar or remember.

I am going to enjoy this Art class and blogging about it.

  2. Great video. The early 19th century had so many inovations in art.

  3. I would also love to get into pottery! All my tattoos are my own paintings so I think it would also be cool to be able to say all my plates and cups are my own creations. But between all my other hobbies, we'll see if I ever find the time.

  5. Hello, I also have never thought of doing a blog, while writing this in a coffee shop so it seems very ironic. I commend you on going ack to school while working full time and obviously having to take care of your family. I also do enjoy the paint nights and also would like to try out a pottery wheel.
